Immediate Gratification?

By Dr Vik | February 10, 2009

As our society “progresses”, many things within our lives have become faster, and the results or outcome are realized much more quickly.

From cooking for hours to the microwave is a perfect example, instead of waiting, we get our meal in seconds.

Computers have also cut the time of research to a quick Google search to find what we are looking for, instead of laboring through encyclopedias and books.

It’s been called the “McDonald’s Factor” – getting something now, with very little waiting involved, and we have been accustomed and “trained” to expect “Immediate Gratification” – Fantastic!

In the same vain, just remember – We never have to wait one single minute to enjoy the moment.
